ACADEMIC COOPERATION PROGRAM LAUNCHED WITH KAZAKHSTAN SATBAYEV UNIVERSITY
As part of an academic cooperation agreement between our university and Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University, one of the leading educational institutions in Kazakhstan, two master’s students specializing in hydraulics have come to our university to complete internships in the Civil Engineering Department. Our Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Ünal Çağlar, and the Coordinator of External Relations, Assoc, welcomed the students. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Çömlekçi, and Lecturer M. İrem Ayar Dilek. The exchange students later proceeded to the Faculty of Engineering to begin their internships.
This internship program, hosted by Kırklareli University, aims to provide students with academic experience in a different culture and foster the exchange of academic knowledge. The interns from Kazakhstan will engage in one-on-one meetings with our faculty members in the Faculty of Engineering and participate in hands-on laboratory work, sharing their acquired experience with students back home. Similar collaborations and expanded student exchange programs are also planned in other departments.
